Cancellation Statement

Rhythms Sans Frontieres Festival Cancellation Statement

We regret to announce that Rhythms Sans Frontieres Festival will not go ahead as planned at Euston Park 1st-3rd July.

We are so deeply saddened that we will not be able to present what was to be an incredible and eclectic line-up of global artists and speakers. This has been a very difficult decision for us, and we offer our most sincere apologies to all of you.

As a brand new addition to the UK festival calendar, amidst a backdrop of the rising cost of living and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have reluctantly arrived at the conclusion that with our present ticket sale levels, we could be at significant risk of not meeting the costs to stage the event. We felt it was wiser to cancel this event now than to adopt a ‘hope for the best’ approach.

The principal aim of this festival was to celebrate cultural diversity and provide a platform in which we could raise funds and awareness for our chosen NGO (non-government organisation) partners, who work tirelessly in the fields of Human Rights, Humanitarian and Environmental campaigning. We feel their work has never been as important as it is now.

We have links to each NGO partner here and we hope you can continue to support them individually in any way you can, and keep up to date on their campaigns.

Support for our NGO partners including; Medecines Sans Frontieres, Amnesty International, World Land Trust, Greenpeace and Frank Water will not stop here. We are currently investigating other ways which we can present events to support these wonderful organisations and celebrate cultural diversity.

We give a huge thank you to all of you who had bought tickets, and were looking forward to being with us in July.

Ticket refunds will be honoured in line with our ticket agent Skiddle’s terms and conditions. Please read the Skiddle terms and conditions here for full details of your refund and when it will arrive in your account.

All of you who have bought your tickets, or entered into a payment plan, will be emailed by Skiddle within 48 hours from this announcement being published.

Thank you for your continued support and interest in our Festival. We would also like to thank our sponsors, programming and investor partners for their continuing support and participation. Watch this space. We hope to see you at a future RSF event.
